In this green oasis in the heart of the Medina you will find everything you need in busy Marrakech. Such as lush banana and orange trees, crisp white sheets, quiet tunes and good food.
The most striking thing about Riad Berbere are the white colours everywhere. White sheets, cushions, tablecloths, and sofas. Even all the laundry that hangs out to dry is white. Lovely sights after a week in the Atlas mountains with the real Berber tribes. Over there everything looks a bit different. All that is white gets a dusty red layer in no time. The Riad also has an eye-catching beauty of a courtyard garden. Although you are actually in the middle of Marrakech, it feels as if you are surrounded by nature.
We stay 2 nights in the Riad and really don’t want to leave the place. We take a massage and dine on the roof terrace, while laughing at all the poses our fellow guests take. Very nice, very soothing, but many Instagrammers. Though, that’s what we are actually doing as well.
